Clifton Hill Costume &Textile

Chapter Two

I have been lucky to be able to document the story of one of Bristol's truly mesmerizing gems, the Clifton Hill Custom & Textiles Shop. After the unfortunate death of Gill Hodder, my good friend Jennifer Ford took over the running of the shop and has been working on it's regeneration for over a year.  While the building work took place she's cleaned and organised the fantastic array of stock.

The shop is now being filled with all the beautifull things cleaned and sorted.  It will reopen during the next week and will be launched in style with a celebratory event at Clifton House on the 18th of April.

To celebrate the opening of the shop, show off some fine outfits and display some most delightful curios, Clifton Hill Costume & Textiles is hosting an evening of glamour, fashion and fun. Featuring live tableaux with models in situ wearing amazing vintage outfits, music, stalls and a catwalk show.
